Session 3. Technical and methodological developments, and large networks handling
Conveners: C. Kreemer, E. Pathier, M. Becker
This session is open to papers that address new technical and methodological development of geodetic methods applied Earth deformation monitoring. In the context of the development of international initiatives like GGOS (Global Geodetic Observing System) or EPOS (European Plate Observatory System), we are especially welcoming paper that focus on one of the following challenges:
- Integration of information coming from different methods (GNSS, gravimetry, SAR and optical imagery, Lidar, ground geodesy, etc.),
- Handling large volume of data and large instruments networks, including automatic detection of events or irregular pattern,
- Managing High Performance Computing for large scale processing that can cover several countries, with regular update for monitoring purpose.
